Since 2005, The Muneer Social Welfare Society has been running Muneer Child Development Centre at Kalindi, Purba Medinipur, in West Bengal. Its activities involve holistic child development that include Educational, Social, spiritual as well as physical development of the children. At present there are 200 children (96 boys and 104 girls) at our MCDC project. Through this project the children are provided nutritious meal, tuition and regular health care, hygiene, birthday gift, music, computer and other vocational training. Muneer provides them regular free health check-up & medicine, food, extra coaching and study materials. Muneer also creates awareness among the beneficiaries about government facilities, health issues, child protection, early child marriage and many other things. Further the children are also taught games & sports, music and many more things to enhance holistic growth.
